Kris Simmons
Executive Producer & CEO
Kris wants to live in a world where football season is year round, where new, high-octane action films are released every week and where it’s socially acceptable for a man to drink his weight in lattes.
As the ultimate idea generator at 6 STRONG MEDIA, he brings over 20 years of experience to every client project along with a rabid obsession for “improving the creative process” so our award-winning team of experts can consistently deliver high-impact videos with mind-blowing quality at break-neck speeds.
Kris has developed and executed successful video projects for numerous mega-brands and was once named “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration. He’s also won enough industry awards as a filmmaker to fill up a small truck but he’s most proud of being unanimously voted “Best Hubby & Dad Ever” by the most important people in his life…Mandy, Wimberly, Grayson, Jace, and Parker.
When he’s not working on iron clad video strategies for our clients or making continuous improvements to our creative process, you can find him spending quality time with his family, binge-watching his favorite TV shows with his sidekick (and pup) Harley, or hiking one of the many trails in and around Chattanooga!
Mandy Senn-Simmons
Vice President - Marketing & Accounts
A super fan of trinkets, pops of color (pronounced cuh-luh) and University of Alabama football, we call Mandy the "company culture on wheels" because no matter where she goes or who she talks to, morale is high, activities are fun and people just generally feel better about themselves.
As Vice President of Marketing & Accounts, Mandy employs her master-level relationship building and business development talents to help us build a stronger client base in Chattanooga, Tennessee and throughout the United States.
She joined our team after serving as a long-time client in her previous roles with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and Girls’ Preparatory School. Mandy knows first hand what it's like to hire us as a vendor (long before she married “the big guy” shown above) and has stated that's why it's so easy to promote 6 STRONG MEDIA as a leading provider of high-end video production and motion graphic animation services.
Billy Simmons
Vice President - Studio Operations
Previously a Commanding Officer in the U.S. Navy and IT Critical Situation Manager for a Fortune 250 corporation, Billy provides military-grade administrative, logistics and accounting support for 6 STRONG MEDIA.
His meticulous attention to detail and tenacity for building more efficient internal processes plays a major role in enabling our creative team to stay completely focused on delivering the best possible solutions for our customers without getting distracted by all “the boring stuff”.
Madeline Burgess
Director - Production & Marketing
Affectionately known as Sweeeeet Mad-e-line, Maddie B, Chatty Maddie, and Maddie Light, Madeline joined 6 STRONG MEDIA after a 5-year stint with a major non-profit.
Her experience wearing more hats than you can shake a stick at make her the perfect fit for our fast-moving, fast-growth video production agency. She’s also crazy smart, witty and a lot of fun to hang out with!
As Director of Production & Marketing, she uses her expert-level social media, marketing and project management skills to keep our client projects on-schedule, while also helping to grow our customer base nation-wide. Madeline admits that she’s a smidge OCD which is pretty helpful since our average project queue looks like a flight board at the Atlanta airport.
Clay Hardwick
Director of Photography & Editor
As jack of all trades, and master of many, Clay is our Swiss Army Knife!
The word creative doesn’t cut it when describing this gent! A newbie Chattanoogan by way of Mississippi, Clay is an artist in every sense of the word. While his humble nature won’t shout this from the rooftops, he has won several awards for music videos, documentaries, abstract paintings, and even a regional Emmy nomination.
Between filming and editing videos, and creating abstract masterpieces, Clay stays pretty active in the creative space.
However, when he’s not working, he can often be found hiking in the woods or hanging off the side of a cliff in one of Chattanooga’s many natural mountainous landscapes. Is he blowing off steam or gaining inspiration? We don’t know, but we hope he keeps doing whatever it is he does to be the amazing person and creative he is!
Ty Johnston
Drone Operator & Photographer
Cool as the other side of the pillow. That’s Ty.
He’s uber-talented, never frazzled and always up for an adventure. Whether he’s rock climbing in the ‘Noog or skiing out West, you better believe he is capturing the moment with his drone or camera. He’s the guy that you can spend 10 minutes with and say “that’s awesome” at least 100 times as he shares all the amazing photos and videos he’s captured during his travels.
Growing up in LA, he’s worked on film sets big and small.
We’re simply excited that the 6 STRONG crew gets to share in his wealth of talent and knowledge. And, above all, Ty’s the guy you want on set because he’s just a fun dude to be around.
Pedro Jacob
Scriptwriter
Wordsmith. Storyteller. Humorist. Insanely Clever. These are merely a few words that describe Pedro.
Scriptwriting is truly a talent and a skill that he has mastered. Often parts of his script drafts are simply too bold and too “out there” for actual client presentation, so we may have to reign them in a bit. But, man oh man, they do provide a good chuckle! AND, is it really ever a crime to be too clever or bold?
A world traveler and resident of the globe, our team often has Zoom envy as we peer in through our computer screens and look out over his verandas to see beaches, palm trees, lush greenery, or whatever beautiful scenery he has the opportunity to experience. After a conversation with Pedro, or after reading one of his scripts, you’re simply left with a smile.
