Dylan Kennedy is the master of controlled chaos — whether he’s keeping a video shoot running like clockwork, orchestrating the rhythm of a bustling kitchen, or managing a high-energy event without breaking a sweat. Before joining 6 STRONG MEDIA, he fine-tuned his logistics wizardry as a community and team leader at Maple Street Biscuit Company, and later leveled up as the Food & Beverage Manager at The Westin. Now, he’s applying that same precision to production coordination, making sure every shoot runs smoother than a perfectly buttered biscuit. 

Off the clock, Dylan is a proud new dad, a devoted husband, and a connoisseur of action movies — because life is better with explosions and epic one-liners. A lifelong gamer, he recently retired his legendary “Rage Muffin” handle for the more dad-approved “Dad Muffin” (parenting comes with sacrifices). And when he’s not wrangling logistics or dominating video game quests, you might just catch him busting out a tune on the trombone — because every production could use a little extra brass.

Combining my two passions — football and filmmaking — is a rare and rewarding experience. So, when we had the opportunity to partner with the Hamilton County Fund for Excellence to help raise funds for turf football fields at public schools across our county, we didn’t hesitate. Our mission was clear: to create a compelling narrative that highlights the importance of 'leveling the playing field,' ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has equal opportunities to thrive in athletics.

Being from Alabama (Roll Tide!), I have a special place in my heart for working with companies rooted near my hometown. Producing the quarterly TV spots for Eleven86 Water gave me all the feels as this brand brings the perfect blend of Southern charm and creative storytelling to the table.

It's not every day you get to work with family (Shoutout Aunt Wendy!) AND help create an amazing video! I loved being able to capture interviews and footage to show off this amazing school back in my hometown. They are truly making an impact on the community, and I loved being a part of the process!

The Coker Tire brand video was my favorite project this year. As someone who might describe themselves as a little "vintage" (in the best way, of course), diving into the world of classic cars felt like a perfect fit. There’s something timeless about showcasing the craftsmanship and charm of vintage wheels, which brought back a lot of nostalgia for me.

Cut! That’s a Wrap, 2024!

It’s the end of the year, and our crew’s feeling beat, 
They’ve worked through the deadlines, the rush, and the heat.  

From filming at sunrise to editing late, 
They’re ready to rest— and not create.   

The editor sighed, “I need a long nap, 
No more cutting footage or fixing a gap.” 

The gaffer sat down with cords in a pile, 
“I’m done with these cables—for a little while.” 

The sound tech said, “I keep hearing faint beeps. 
I think my brain’s editing while I sleep!”

The DP just laughed, “Let’s put it to bed— 
Next year, we’ll focus more on the fun stuff instead.” 

The team packed the gear and turned out the lights, 
Said goodbye to the work and hello to calm nights. 

With family and friends, they’ll take time to rest, 
So in January, they’ll come back their best. 

Fresh and recharged, with new ideas in store, 
They’ll be ready to work and create even more. 

But for now, it’s time to enjoy the year’s end—
